Hey, yo! You reached uh, me! You should know who this is, right? Anyway, you must'a caught me at a bad time, so, uh. Leave a message! I'll get back to you soon as I can. Love and Peace!
listen, we'll have a talk with wolfwood and libra i think this is something you care about pretty seriously, yeah? we grow enough fruit and veg on the farm that i think i think so long as noone has serious objections noone at the cottage will need to eat meat.
Both me and Wolfwood spent most of our years out in a desert where food was scarce and hard to come by as it is here, where we are growing literal food on trees and eating it isn't hurting anyone? i think itd be easy to convince wolfwood that maybe if he needs to eat meat, to do it while he's not at the cottage.
[ he personally thinks it's reasonable? he really does. he himself doesn't mind the idea of avoiding meat from now on--it's just one kind of food, and he can think of dozens of dishes that don't require it.
sweets don't need meat. therefore... ]
so i think it's fine to just not eat it at the cottage anymore just like i said id not go fishing anymore it's easy as that, Kni.
[he's a little surprised it is that easy. his expectations from others, humans especially, are low. as low as he can possibly keep them, so it shouldn't be that easy, right? he could only rely on himself and on vash, but even then, vash had hope in others where kni had none.
if he wanted to get through anything, he couldn't rely on the kindness and mercy of others. he didn't understand how vash could make it seem so easy, sometimes.]
[ if he was there, he'd press his forehead against Kni's, and make sure that music between them was soft and pleasant. Maybe if he closes his eyes... ]
[maybe he feels it, something soft and faint that brushes over his soul like a light breeze. or maybe he's thinking the same as vash, foreheads touching and allowing the comfort to hug him wholly.]
no subject
but i won't do it.
i'll starve before i eat another living creature.
no subject
so, don't worry, i won't either

even if the idea of eating something that could feel and think, in whatever way they could, makes him sick with unease.]
is that really okay?
i mean, libra is a dragon. wouldn't he like eating meat?
and wolfwood
[they're still running errands together so kni hesitates at his name, worrying his lower lip.
like he needs wolfwood to have more reasons to look at him with disdain.]
i just don't want to see anyone
eating it

I promised you I'd not lie to you.
And I intend to keep that promise.

good.
or else i'll be really mad.
no subject
Love you, Kni.
Be good for Wolfwood, okay?
no subject
i love you too, vash
[he won't comment on that because he'd hope the fact wolfwood hasn't left him somewhere in a ditch means he's not being too bad at all!]
