Hey, yo! You reached uh, me! You should know who this is, right? Anyway, you must'a caught me at a bad time, so, uh. Leave a message! I'll get back to you soon as I can. Love and Peace!
[ Time is the great healer and unfortunately that means they are bound by just how long it takes. Which in this case, could be a while.
He raises a hand in greeting when he spots Vash sitting down- it's really nor hard to miss him given how tall he is. Varian takes a deep, measured breath, lets it out. It comes out a little more shuddery than he'd like, he realises there's more nerves in his chest than he first thought- but this has to be done.
He does manage a small smile as he sits across from his friend. ] Hey Vash. [He is, at least, a little bitch for cocoa. ] Those look good!
[ time was the only healer Vash knew. Normally, when he screwed up this bad, he'd run away for ten, fifteen years and not come back until the whole ordeal was long forgotten, or the people involved passed away so he could ignore things like consequences for his actions. Now that he was stuck in Kaisou thanks to some Peach Juice, he's having to learn reconciliation and it's. Hard. For the alien man who isn't quite in tune with his emotions fully.
he does offer varian a sort of smile as the other comments on the food. He scoots it forward. peace offering...! ]
...You look okay. [ awkward start!!!! he's gonna sit up whip straight. And then immediately bow his head down. ] --I mean, like. I don't know. You--
I.
... I'm sorry. About what happened. How I acted. I must have scared you so badly, things didn't feel right, and you didn't deserve...
[ he's really not sure where to start, and there's a lot he wants to say. Help, Varian. ]
[The peaches did, unfortunately, make the pretend it's not there until it goes away process a lot less workable. Especially when the person you'd want to avoid is also trapped in the city for a long time for the same reason. Varian's a pro at reconciliation, that's a trick he learned long before he came to this world.
And so, he offers a small, vaguely amused smile:]
Like I'm not fully traumatised from being killed? I mean... I've still got healing to do, but Jun took me out to Hyrule for a little while to recover. That helped. Made it... a little easier.
[ He raises his shoulders in a little shrug. ]
I don't blame you for it, Vash. I never have. That place was purposefully messing with our minds and turning us against each other. You did what you thought was right, and I overreacted and hurt you, too. I'm sorry for that, but there's no point in us torturing ourselves over it. Neither of us were in our right minds- it's just something that happened. We can't control that. But we can control moving on from it. Ergo: talking about it.
