[Sssssomeone has been hearing shit on the teacher grapevine about a certain plant twin- and honestly, it hits Nox in a way that he's far too familiar with.

So Vash is getting a call from Nox, surprisingly, and it may not be exactly what Vash is expecting at first.]

Hey, Vash- question for you. How's Kni been doing in school?

[ somehow, he'd not at all be surprised IF someone's at least heard about his little brother's unfortunate... run-ins at school, but. Getting a call from nox makes him at least hope someone might be looking out for him.

He laughs a little as the question hits his ears, and he finds himself nodding along. ]

As I expected, he's a bit too smart for the class he's in. He gets bored quick.

Yeah, word’s gotten around even to the high school- so I wanted to check in. I kinda get where he’s coming from, in a way. Not in this life, but the last. Long story.

[More than anything, kids that age are a lot of emotions, but Kni’s a special case. If he’s already bored, then that’s gonna lead to delinquency down the line, eventually.

Still, Nox has an idea.]

I’d wanna chill with him sometime, if that’s cool? Oh, and does he like dogs?

[If Kni is going to be a problem, Nox is going to give him something to focus on and work towards, rather than hold something over his head. Most teachers don’t have a great view of him- if that can get lessened over time, then maybe Kni will at least learn how to be civil enough around others in school.]

He knows there's a little on-edginess in the city due to some of his friends knowing who 'Kno' was thanks to Wolfwood's aired-out trama about the cult that hurt him.

But yeah, he LOVES animals. With how much he gets along with no people, he adores animals on a nearly opposing scale.
